- Today was a very slow day... a sloe start and even slower tours... Once we were greeted by all the teachers we had one and a half hours before our first tour of the state library which I was not looking forward to. To pass the time our group came up with more questions for our next interview on Thursday and we started the "Mall Crawl" activity. We had only just begun when It was time to meet our classmates at the state library. I would like to say that this tour was fun... but it wasn't. Although it was very interesting and gave me great ideas for studying in the future this was not one of the best tours I have had. After finishing this tour our class moved down to Ayers House and waited 5 minutes before taking a lengthy tour in this historic building. This was a little more interesting and I listened more closely because our group is interviewing the manager of this building. Once this tour was over we had just under one hour to either relax or to do investigations. Many people, including our group, took Mr Brice's advice and chilled out, had lunch and met back at Pilgrim hall at 3:00.
- Today was a fairly slow and boring day. Having said that however I did learn the identity of the person we will be interviewing, the position of the state library, that my bus does not drop Sam off at Pasadena Food Land and that if there is a heatwave the cellar is the best place to go.

Day Two In The City
Tuesday 4th of September
- Today started quickly with a visit from a marketing manager. This man talked about marketing, people who live in the city and what attracts people to the Adelaide CBD. I found this quite boring but I did hear one interesting piece of information. The Marketing manager kept referring to the CBD as a product and the public where the consumers and the CBD had been made to suit them...
- After this my group and I participated in the activity called "Hospitality Hustle". This involved us walking up and down, exploring North Terrace, Rundle Street, Gouger Street and Hut Street searching for Hospitable shops and venues such as hotels, restaurants and cafes.
- Once we had finished this activity our group trundled off to the Central Markets for Lunch and to complete the "Central Markets" activity. This activity was simple and easy to complete and was easily finished during the groups lunch break.
- Everyone in this group all contributed evenly to all of the activities. Except for when the Marketing man came to talk to us. I know that Sam and I did not write down anything. But other then that We all kept up, wrote, worked hard and got along well as a group.
- Today was a fairly layed back day after the morning. City beach was the highlight of the day and everyone had a great time. Except maybe Greg :( It was funny though.....

Day One In The City
Monday 3rd September
- Today my group and I participated in activities such as "Leisure and Entertainment" and the "Tour of town hall". The tour came first at 11:15-12:30. Our group met Mr Brice and other groups outside the town hall. Once inside we were greeted by a nice man by the name of Glen. Glen firstly showed us a statue of Queen Adelaide and a picture of early Adelaide and explained their story. After this we were shown upstairs into the auditorium where sat a huge organ and where the Yr 12 Valedictory service was held. Then we were shown the Dining hall, where weddings and small concerts were held. We were then taken back downstairs to be shown the room of Queen Adelaide and the Adelaide City Council table where all of the meetings were discussed and viewed.
- After the tour of Town Hall my group and I walked through Rundle Mall, Rundle Street, King William Street and North Terrace adding to the activities on the "Leisure and Entertainment" activity. Before this however the entire group walked to the Myer food court for lunch. After belly's were full and discussions had finished we set off to discover Entertainment stores and Leisure centres.
- At he end of the day my group and I interviewed Quentin from City Beach. He was very helpful and he gave us many answers that will help us to answer the guiding question.
- This day was very full on, fun but tiring. My only concern was what bus to catch home and now what bus to catch to get into the city.
